Wesley Group Homes

Wesley Group Home Ministries was created in 1987 to minister to individuals with developmental disabilities within the Florida Annual Conference. There currently are approximately 10,000 such individuals in Florida. Wesley Group Homes Ministries is able to care for only six of them in a single facility. There is urgent need for more group homes throughout the Conference. Additionally, the ministry needs an Executive Director to administer the program and secure available public funds so that rehabilitation, education and job training can be offered to this significant population in the Florida Conference. The Wesley Group Home Ministries campaign goal is to raise $500,000 in capital funds to:

• Hire and cover a five-year (declining percentage) of the cost of an Executive Director
• Establish two new group homes in partnership with local churches
